Love help: I was with my boyfriend for 4 months then we started having problems. - Help.com

Editors:

I was with my boyfriend for 4 months then we started having problems.

Then one of my friends started liking him so he broke up with me and went with her.
He says he only did that because he was mad at me, and now wants me back.
Should I trust him to not hurt me again?
