Just walk up to them and speak to them. Ask how have they been and if you are genuine will find that he/she will not be uneasy.

i have social anxiety and im shy. it helps when you arent directly in front of them, like really close to their face. dont ask too difficult of questions right away. ur prolly gunna get one word responses. just dont get annoyed by it. just be nice. and hopefully that person will accept you
