Yeap, russian army began pulling out? ha ha and ha once more! some part of the army is still in Georgia and they steel everything they can! even lavatory pens! thay’ve burned 550 hectars of forest reserve with firebombs, some of the rarest plats are extirpated! they’ve left lots of mines, and some people died already because of it! And it was said so much lies about georgian soldiers! like, they’ve locked people in church and burned it! IT IS NONSENCE!!! All georgians are orthodox and no one can dare even to scratch door of church!

dang, ive heard russian soldiers were very crude but i had no idea !!! russia used way to much force on poor little georgia. i hate how the people have to pay for things that governments cant work out. ive seen some pictures on the net of kids suffering after the war … it breaks my heart.

What if the US had something to do with it? Like what if we fueled the flames or helped them grow?

Georgia is a democracy and a US ally, thats partly why Russia hates them. Georgia use to be part of Russia.

Thats probably what they want you all to believe. They fueled the flames and now they are helping you to seem like the good guys.

Ok ima stop before someone really gets offended. I just think that its odd how this war started in the middle of the campaign for presidency, but i guess its just me.

HELL NO!!! georgia has been part of russia when USSR exsisted. russia had made a “giorgievski” treaty (1783) and betrayed us when we needed them. and before it many many times

…and then more nuclear weapens will be made and stockpiled for a future war that may never happen against the two biggest bullies on the block. more nuclear weapens even deadlier than the ones before (if thats at all possible). just what we need, another cold war…

i hope we in the US can start our own off-shore drilling. maybe we’ll possibly open alaska for oil drilling ? this would ease our dependency on oil.

Umm NO. Im against offshore drilling! I think we should stop using oil ALL TOGETHER. Their are great working vehicles out there that dont need oil to run. But the production or these cars were put to a hault because they want people to continue to buy oil

yes, i’m in Georgia, in Tbilisi (capital) and it seems like nothing had happened here, but if you see links above, you’ll see destroyed cities and burnt villages. And you know what’s most terrible? there are over 100,000 refugees! POOR PEOPLE, crushed by silly policans, they live in schools (in classrooms), in kindergartens, in tents.

Sorry didn’t Georgia attack the provinces to try too take them back from the “rebels” and start this war? And they did it while the Russian president was out of the country. What did they expect Russia too do? let it’s citizens who live in the area that Georgia was trying too take back just die? Plus Russia probably likes the publicity this is getting them. They no longer want too be seen as a crushed and poverty stricken country they want the world too see them as a superpower again.

P.S. I don’t think war is ever the right answer but putting all the blame on Russia does not seem right either.

Thanks for your opinon I’m very much interestd in opinions wich have people in other country. What country are you from?
I want you to know, our president has made two mistakes: He fall of the bait of russian provocation as in 2004, (but in 2004 he retreated, cause 58th army was already at the frontier)… the second one is sending reservists to battle-fronts.
