So here’s my problem:
I weigh 110-117 pounds and am 5′4″ and would really like suggestions in losing 10-15 pounds.
Sometimes I’ll fast for a day or two, and I never eat breakfast or lunch on weekdays, but sometimes I’ll just binge eat for a meal once a week or so, and immediately gain 4 pounds or more. My friend told me that fasting and then eating a lot will just make it harder to lose the weight I gained from bingeing because that fat just clings better or something.
Any suggestions? I really need help with this - I’ve been struggling with it for years.
Please?

and also to angel, that’s a good weight. I’m 5″9′ and only 125, so i’m under weight, by the time u reach my height you’ll be normal weight i would guess
Never Ever fast!!!
breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
because of sleeping through all of those hours
you must eat at least a Pop Tart or some healthy cereal!
Just remember always eat but don’t eat a whole lot of it.
portion it out and make sure that u are not eating an overload
of food.
if you’re religgious, fast. But fasting won’t help you in losing pounds! you’ll just add more! cause you can eat bread and other meals with lots of callories and it makes situation worse.
Buuuuuuuuuuut a pack of poptarts is 400 calories, and I’d really rather not eat that much for breakfast.
I did have a pack of poptarts today, I’ll admit, but I binged today because I fasted for 43 hours and was really, really hungry.
I know it’s not a good thing to do, but I really need to lose this weight.
take yourself down the drs lv,you sound like need a different kind of help, your ruining your health do something about this before you go any worse.
i’ve written in one post one cool diet
do you want it?
yes please!
Ok, listen up because I just lost 10 pounds.
Eat frequentl (every three hours) but only eat a LITTLE bit. Like half a sandwich and a glass of orange juice or something. Make sure you’re always a little bit hungry. STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR!! My dad lost 20 pounds in three weeks (he’s now 180)…so I’m sure it will work.
p.s. No cheating!!
thank you! i’ll try that!
alright…. every 3 hours, you say? seems awfully frequent. how much exersizing, etc is required for this?
after 10 days of it my sister lost about 20 pounds.
10 o’clock - coffee, little piece of cheese and bread
12 - boiled egg and cucumber
14 - boiled meat and cucumber
16 - cottage cheese and some fruit
18 - something like kefir
just try
i’ll try that, only i don’t eat meat. have any replacement ideas for the boiled meat?

please dont fast no more
Not a good Idea I’m afraid. Losing 10-15 pounds will cause your BMI to drop to something between 15 and 16! Not healthy. Your body won’t want to do that. No matter what you do, after your bmi goes below about 18 (which for you is around 109lb)it will cling to the remaining fat it has. It will burn muscle before it burns fat. It will go into starvation mode. I really don’t recommend it.
(You probably know, but bmi is ‘body mass index’. Here’s a link: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/)
Please treat your body well, if you have any issues about your weight, don’t hesitate to discuss them with a friend or family, or ask for help on here:)
