Any coral reefers out there who may be able to help me with a little issue?

I have done a lot of research and have not been able to find anyone make mention of this before, but I have a peppermint shrimp that appears to be a little aggressive. I added a few snails yesterday and he grabbed one and pulled it in to a hole in the rock. The snail never came out. Today, I added a hammer coral and he immediately started ripping off a polyp. This behavior doesn’t seem typical for this species. I hate to see the shrimp go but have no idea of what I could do with him.
Any ideas?

Are you a fish or aquatic farmer?

Not exactly, I just have a lot of hobbies and if it’s related to either fresh or saltwater, I’m in to it.

Fish farming has been the big trend here in Canada. Mussels, clams and salmon.
