Why is he trying to smear you?
there must be some motivation?
does this guy make up stories about other people to?
what would be of great help to you is to go to one of the people
that this guy has told about you.
Ask them “do you believe what he said is true?”

Spread the rumor that what he said I did wasn’t with the other person
it was with him. And then I dumped him.

But he didn’t want to. So I dumped him.
Or perhaps something more truthful.
Spread the rumor that you know he would like to do that with me.

it is an unfortunate thing that so many rumors spread around.
I think it’s something you just have to put up with.
There are always jerks out there.
This won’t be the first one.
And it won’t be the last one.
You just have to have the faith that that you’re doing what you think is correct.
and justice is on your side.
