if your child is having issues with certain things.. you can actually go through the school and get extra help for this… also… you can go through a program…. forgot what its called… but they will send a special tutor to your house for this for free…

We used edhelper.com for a while it is for all levels and ages many school teachers also use it for their lessons. I hope this helps.

Thanks so much!!! My neighbor has this poor child with many disabilities. I let them use pc, and he does get extra assistance from school, however wanted to do something on their own using the pc… Thanks so much all :)

if you go to your local library it would have resources such as books that a designed for people that have difficulties in reading they have been made to make it easier for people like them and also I am sure that they have information in ways in places that could help.

I would normaly search through a lot of these and try to find the best sites. I think in this case who ever teaches the child on the pc, will have a better understanding of what is needed, in this childs case.
So although it involves you or some one else doing the search, the results will be worth that much more.

I am a teacher with many English Language Learners. I am hoping to put together an list of interactive sites for help with reading. Starfall.com is a great site for phonics. The BBC and PBS have great sites for many of the subskills involved in reading decoding and comprehension.
