What does it mean by “properties and definition of operation”? That looks fairly simple to me…

Uh, your left side should work out to c/6, right?

Then multiply both sides by 6c.

I hope the rest is simple…but if not say so.

Surely it’s just something like
(c/2)12
= (12c)/2
= (12/2)c
= 6c

(a*b)*c is always equal to a*(b*c), which is always equal to a*b*c
