Does Help COM Really Help Anyone?

other. case to case basis depending on the problem and the respondent. but i am still glad with help.com that is why i am still logging on here. it’s just that i hope that it would not make me a self-imposed recluse

I voted “other” Whereas, some people may just be looking for sympathy, there are quite a few who are in need of advice. I will continue to offer whatever assistane I can because that’s what this site is about…and the added bonus is making friends along the way.

Crud I voted for the wrong one, I meant to say that it does help people.

Some people do want others to feel some sympathy towards them, and they often get it here. This helps them. Others are looking for practical solutions to problems they are going through, be this a person looking for life changing advice or something simple as a problem with their computer. Either way they often receive it here.

Hmm, depending on the poster’s intention of posting it. They might just need support or big time advice or just pure rant. It would also depend on the users available at the moment the post was up. Some would just comment, give hit on the nail advices or just support…all depends on what they can offer.

But in my personal view, this site has helped me. Personally.
