girl help: another sorta embarassing question. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

another sorta embarassing question.

whenever i shave my armpits (im a girl) they look like i didnt even shave. my skin there is thick and bumpy. and usually when i shave it gets sorta irratated.

ive tried shaving with shaving cream, dry, with power. and with multiple different kinds of razors. nothing really works.

i usually use degree women or dove deordorants.

i have thick hair in general. and i sweat normally there. but im tired of my armpits always looking gross. does anyone have any tips?

sometimes you have to shave not just up, but down.
keep using the shower cream, so you wont get irritated.
you might just take you longer to get the right spots.
try waiting until the irritation goes away and try a new way of doing it, so you dont have to worry about makeing the irritation worst.

It’s a bit expensive but it’s permanent: Laser hair removal. 3-4 treatments are around $600 and then you only have to go back every year for follow ups. It really works great.

i tried that. and guess what. the hair grew back. not to mention my armpits once got burned by the laser in one of the treatments.
