Hey guys, i got a big problem on phone bill paying..

For those of you who are in Toronto, you might help alot…
I am having problems on cellphone bill paying…
Like today, i went to the bank and tried to pay my bill…the person asked me to show a card and stuffs to prove that i am the owner of the number…or not she will charge extra three dollars for that…
Though the problem is, i never had such problem before today, i usually just show up in the bank with my bill, that’s it!
What is that thing!?
By the way, my phone company is Rogers.

Maybe a recent identity theft increase has caused the carrier to be more secure about who their customers are.

Rogers, like many other things in Canada, is highly bureaucratized. Send your payment directly to Rogers and skip the bank. If Rogers doesn’t like that, tough! You can probably set up an electronic payment through your bank account, in any event!

Just set up a bank payment from your online banking page. Your bank can assist you. P.S. I’d get a new bank!

Go to your nearest Rogers store and ask them to assist you with your problem. Pay directly to Rogers and not through a bank who would take their interest on anything.

There have been countless reports of counterfeiting and idenity theft. Maybe that’s why they are giving you problems. Other than that I don’t know much about owning a company.
