Is helping people in need a bad idea?

?? If not, then why do those who can help them don’t come forward to make the poverty level stand up???

no not at all. it lets people know that you care about them and only want the best for them. and as for those who dont come foward and help, maybe they just dont know wat to do, or are scared they might do the wrong thing. but it never hurts to try to help.

There were once four brothers: Everyone, Someone, Anyone and Noone.
They had a very important task to do.
Everyone was sure that Someone will do it.
Anyone could have done it, but Noone did it in the end.

Someone was angry because it’d have been Everyone’s job.
Everyone thought that Anyone could have done it,
but Noone realized that Noone will do it in the end.

In the end, Everyone was angry at Someone because Noone did what Anyone could’ve done.

Helping people in need is crucial to improving every community. If everyone helped locally and reinvested their money locally then there would be little need for outside assistance.

I dont know if you are referring to internet help. That is a different thing entirely.

Regards Mas

Are you using the internet to contact organisations and people you know - or complete strangers?

I am trying both…… tried locally…but they only provide good suggestions.
tried local charities and government. but they are totally corrupted… but those who are really helpful, they only help themselves….

so I am trying to do my best myself…I am not that rich but i do what ever I can…
maybe I am wrong but I like to do it…makes me feel good

There is so much you can do without giving money (even though that can solve someone’s problems for a while).
Food banks need food.
Shelters need blankets.
Salvation Army Stores need clothing.
Hospitals need volunteers.
Schools need mentors.

Reach out to your community in one or all of these ways and you will make a difference

I help them in all the way you said…..but for that we need someone who needs to start it…. as Bangladesh (where in am from) is a third world nation… every one runs after money….. those who come up to help …at last they help themselves with the fund/grants they get except for some exceptional. I am English teacher and i help children in rural areas to learn english as well as other subjects…. but i do it my self cause charity organizations mostly supports these people by providing loans and that doesn’t help gain knowledge and survivals…cause the charities after (as they say HELP)by providing loans…takes them back with huge interests….

Well the problem is big and would take a while to enplane…. ll I want to do is make these people stand in their own feet for at lest to survive …

That is all wonderful. And giving everyone money would be a good start.
But you of all people should know, give a man a fish and he has food for a day. Teach a man to fish and he has food for a lifetime.

Maybe at this point, it is beyond that and I wish there was something I could do, too. I also wish the government was strong enough to support those who need assistance. But even here in America that is a major problem.

I think there are a lot of people out there that don’t give out of fear and greed, but I think that’s quite a minority. I think the main reason people aren’t as helpful to others as they should be is simply that they get too caught up in their own day-to-day lives, and don’t often step back to see the opportunities to help others that they’re missing.

I know for me personally I could be doing a lot more than I do, but really, what’s a realistic expectation? During this semester at school I’m in a classroom for at least 15 hours a week, in addition to the approximate 8 hours in a lab each week, and roughly six hours of homework/studying each day. Add work on top of that so I can eat and pay my bills… Well, I really don’t have much time left in the week.

But I do what I can, realizing that there will always be more to do than I can do, hoping others out there are capable and doing all they can do, and believing that what I can manage to do will matter to someone, somewhere.

Fear and Greed is what keeping the world falling behind….. I believe that there is nothing impossible in this world that you can do…. anything is possible if you believe n yourself…. I dont want to be famous nor want to be rich… all I want is a world where everyone lives in harmony………

My dad always says ” maybe today you are able to satisfy your needs nd want…but you cant say bout 2moro…. so be prepared…and help those who can’t support them…

I n trying to do just that….trying to teach how to fish…. I know I can’t change the world… but at least have the feeling someone might like my idea and follow what i am doing in the future….

Alone, You May Not Change The World, But You May Start Something & Others Will Follow Your Example, & Together, You Will Change The World.
