I’ve finally severed ties with my ******* of an ex-boyfriend. Well he became aggressive, calling me a b*t*h and repeatedly telling me to eff off. Another happy ending!

Sounds to me as if you have had a lucky escape! Men who start with the name caling, or verbal violence if you may, can (not always I would like to stress), but may, turn to physical violence. And even if not, who wants to be ‘put down’ and demoralised all the time?
