Love help: I think I may have fleas?

I think I may have fleas?

Dangit.
Yeah.
The neighbour let their kitty out for 2 days without a flea collar.
(They abuse the cat * by the way).
It was rubbing against my leg and playing with my shoe string when I was outside.

I gave my cat fleas a few years back and stuff.
My aunt likes homeless cats and she invited me over once.
That’s how I get them and gave them to my cat.

The problem is, fleas seriously love me.
They only bit me and stuff. No joke, they left my family alone except me.

I’m sitting her now, and I’m “itchy” every few minutes.

I forgot that the cat might have fleas and when I was feeding it, it rubbing up against my leg my mom decides to shout 5 minutes later “IT MIGHT HAVE FLEAS!”

Gahh.
We all know how much vet stuff costs and such.

Have a bath and completely put your whole body under water, that will at least kill the fleas on you.

Help me with: how do I put my self on the map, so as to not have location unknown?

for one… fleas can get your pets anywhere.. shoot.. i lived on 3rd floor of a building and my cats never go outside.. and yet.. they got fleas…

as for them biting only you… did you know that insects such as fleas and mosquitos and such.. can smell different oils on people.. the more sweeter you are to them.. they will find you… and leave others alone.. it sucks cuz i too have that oil in which they absolutely love…

as for your cats.. i suggest frontline.. get it from the vet, not from the super market.. as they dont work.. but the frontline is really good stuff…

I don’t have a bathtub.
It’s a a shower?

I’ll just blame my mom? She went out there and the cat glomped her with hugs and rubbing of the legs. xDD

Blame your aunt if the fleas are from her house. Definitely, ask her to take them back.

also… if there is any possible way to bathe your cats… dawn dish soap kills fleas… however, be very careful that you dont get it in their eyes or nose… and then comb them…. i would also recommend vacuuming your house a couple times a day.. sucking those little suckers up.. along with their eggs…

I doubt my mom would let me do that.
I got screamed and cursed at because I SUPPOSEDLY made the knob lose the on dryer. Psh.

Fleas cant be killed by water ? or bath , if it was as easy as that wow , buy some flea powder for cat , and yourself, dust yourself your clothes ,anywhere there is warmth, hair , washing/laundry basket, etc..Animal fleas rarely stay for long on humans you could just stay away from cat

Help me with: I love helping folk with pc/computer problems and want to start a list of things to ask to get a full picture before I can help any ideas?
