I need motivation!

My major exams are in two months time. I haven’t been doing well all this school year and I really need to buck up if I want to go to a good college. Thing is, I’ve got so much on my mind(yes, relationship problems) I can’t concentrate. I really really need to get my act together or my future will be ruined. Someone please put things in perspective for me.

The thing to do is to spend from around fifteen minutes to a hour to clear your head, then concentrate on what’s important.

MotivationDo you want to be 30 years old working at burger king, or 65 working at walmart. College is important relationships will come and go. Motivation to succeed should come natural and if it doesnt live a year or two on your own making a bit mroe than minimum wage. Thats how my life is im 22 and just now starting college b/c

1. I make 10 bucks an hour. (like 700-1000 biweekly depending on how much overtime i put in)
2. Promotion pretty much means someone needs to die.
3. Im unhappy with my current situation.

My motivation for going back to college:
More money. Successful career instead of deadend job. Networking opportunities. Etc. You just need to find out what your motivation is whether it be providing for a stable family someday or wanting to be a CEO of a corporation.

Tell this person who is screwing with your head to back off and leave you to it.. They need to understand that your future is at stake and you shouldn’t have to deal with them at the moment. If they love you they will take heed. If they don’t then you have to decide if you can enjoy life blaming someone else for you failing.

Hi guys the poster here, thanks for the replies. (: Ugh thing is I don’t even know what I want to do in college I just know I have to do well if I’m to have choices, even. I’m really behind in my subjects and its demoralizing to try to catch up.

I know I need knowledge in order to do what I want to do. I like(but suck at) sciences, but I’m better at the humanities subjects(I just happen to be taking a science subject combination where I’m studying T_T).

As for what I want, I want to be able to see things clearly for what they are, kinda like the people who can cause massive shifts in social consciousness. I like the ability to think and analyse and break down things but I don’t really know what courses I want? I think I get interested in stuff easily which is why I’m afraid to specialise. But i know to even have choices I need good grades which is really worrying because I’m taking subjects which I’m naturally weak at (sciences).
