Right, i feel really depressed at the moment, well i have been for a while but just latley i’ve been showing it, for many reasons:

1. I dont really get on with my mum anymore and defernantly NOT my step dad!
Lets just say he’s a violent drunk who just breaks up the family by doing unforgetful things, such as abusing my mum and shouting at my autistic(sorry about the spelling)brother for no reason.

2. Just lately been trying to find my dad as he left me and my mum for another woman while i was young.I had success in finding him, which was great apart from the fact that he doesnt want anything to do with me. which is just great..

3.I used to cut myself and because i completely dislike myself for various reasons and because of this obviously i have scars, its just a constant reminder of how stupid i am.

4.One word “SCHOOL” lets just say i’m not exactly a bright student and which just makes everything even better my auntie and uncle are well..err…lets just say very sucessful and that they expect me to do well just because my step sister did. Ohh and i also told one of my teachers about some of my problems which are now the past and now he ignores me completely, probably because he thinks i’m seeking sympathy or something, which i aint as i’m just wanting some help and didnt get it..I’ve also been talking to my head of year who has helped alot, but i dont tell him everything but i dont know why, i just cant do it.

5.I’ve been liking this lad for ages and he did used to give me the impression he liked me too even though we dont really know each other that much but now he has a girlfriend who is just way better than me .

6. My mum told me a few days ago when i just got back from my vistit to my gran and grandads that grandad might have cancer behind his eyes, but i didnt think that was possible but apparentlly it is.

I’m so sure everyones wanting me to die or something, and lets just say i feel like i want to die!!

Someone give me some advice please, i dont know what to do?! its all so confusing and depressing! :(

Tips on being happy! Try these out, maybe it will help your depression

Decide to be a happy person. As Lincoln observed, most people, most of the time, can choose how stressed or happy, how troubled or relaxed they want to be. Choose to be happy.

Practice the Attitude of Gratitude. We all have so much to be grateful for. Just thanking the many people who assist us, encourage us, teach us and open doors for us could take all day!

Take Time. My dog has taught me much about loyalty, about noticing the sights, sounds, and smells in the yard, about being relaxed and about play. Eat when you’re hungry, nap when you need it. Get your ears scratched whenever possible!

Laugh everyday. Hear a joke, tell a joke, laugh at yourself, laugh with your friends and family and co-workers. There are very few medicines as powerful as laughter, and I don’t think you can over-dose, although it is addicting!

Love well. Express your affection, appreciation, friendship and warmth to those around you, and they will almost always respond in the most amazing ways! Be generous–it pays great dividends!

Work hard. This one comes as a bit of a surprise, but there is tremendous satisfaction in being competent, and joy in completing our assigned tasks. One of the great sources of happiness is to do work that is worthy of you, and to do it well.

Learn something new, everyday. To be happy, most of us must also be growing, expanding, learning and challenging ourselves. Read, listen, adapt and stretch to accommodate new ideas and new information.

Use your body as it was designed. Walk and run, stretch, throw things, and lift things. Dance! Exercise is good, mixing up a batch of cookies, or exchanging backrubs. You have a body and it can be either a source of joy, or a source of aches and pains. Your choice.

if your step dad is abusive then your mom needs to get rid of him, or make him get some help on not getting so drunk all the time.

if your dad doesnt want to see you and he left when you were young, then forget him, I wouldnt even consider that a dad, biological or not.

if your in high school, its not to hard, just more or less doing a lot of things you dont want to do (homework). I cant preach much here I skipped HS for the most part, but got my crap together afterward and went to college (WAAAAAAAAY better then highschool because you learn something your actually interested in lol)

at your age I wouldnt even worry about boys, most relationships at that age dont last, and once everyone leaves high school they either move or go to college, so odds of it lasting past that is slim.

and im sorry to hear about your grandpa, but medicine is pretty good these days so have hope. my buddy had a brain tumor behind his eye and they successfully removed it.

and no, nobody wants you to die, it just feels like that sometimes.

things will get better in time, they always do.

oh yea I forgot to say, forget about your aunt and uncles opinion, because it doesnt really matter.

I have a set of aunt/uncle/cousins that feel like they have to try and be better then the rest of the family all the time, and well….nobody really talks to them anymore, nobody likes a snob on a high horse
