um why?
How should I/we know.. Depends on a hell lot of things.. Could take from one day to two years or more before u can see any results
well..then don’t answer the question. no one’s making you. ahaha
ok then, thanks for your help..not. lol
I have been on a pretty strict diet this year (I limit myself too 1500 calories a day, the recommended for a man my size is 2800) I started out in march as a 6′1″ 250lb man. Now I am down too 189lbs and I am still loosing on average 2-3lbs a week.
Your results will depend on your lifestyle now. Prior too starting my diet I drank a 6 pack of soda a day (sometimes more) and I ate pretty much whatever I wanted. So I have seen pretty amazing results I get comments all the time about how good I look. LOL and girls are starting too hit on me more. I had a woman ask me to marry her 2 days ago.
Oh and it depends on what results your looking for.
Good luck on your diet.. do research and be safe don’t over do it I didn’t start out at 250lbs eating 1500 calories a day I started at 2800 and worked my way down slowly prior too the diet I was probably close too 4k a day. Now I don’t even feel like I’m on a diet I feel like it was a lifestyle change.
Think you need to take into consideration how many carbs you’re eating. High protein and high veg is good but if you’re not cutting down on the carbs you won’t see quick results. I have been through the mill of all diets and found this particular method to work best for me. I went from weighing 12 1/2 **** to 8st 9lbs is five months, so here’s what I did:
1) STrictly cut out all carbs, starches and sugars. Things like bread, pasta, wheat, fruits, candy, soda, all sugars gone. I satisfied my craving for sweet things by using sweetner instead. Aspartame is not good, inhibits weight loss. Sucralose, Acesfulame K are good ones.
2) Ate more good fats, favourite being salmon.
3) Ate more protein but not too much red meat, only had red meat two times a week. Steak, chicken, pork, beef, turkey breast, ham etc.
4) Cut down on starchy veg like carrots, peas and corn and opted for healthy spinach, broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, leek, spring onions etc and had three portions of these daily.
5) Exercised 5 days a week intensely and included weight training in my program. I did resistance training, so I didn’t exercise at one level for 30 minutes. Instead I upped the intensity of my workouts to achieve a better result. Exercise ranged from jogging on the treadmill, boxing, skip rope, bike, to plain old dancing.
When I was on this ‘diet’ I lost very quickly and continued to lose very quickly. Trickly thing is staying on track. AFter I got down to a healthy weight I ate more fruits and carbs but eventually gave up on the exercise and got back to my old ways of eating. BUT, and a big but it is, the weight has really stayed off. Sugars are bad for you anyway, if you are going to eat sugar and starch eat wholemeal bread and pasta and get your sugars from healthy foods like fruit and veg. I still try to cut back on sugary foods and its not really hard either, its just finding the motivation to exercise regularly! But you can do it! :) Anyway this is what I believe to be the best diet for losing weight so good luck.
Oh and one more thing, I didn’t count calories, which is why I loved this diet. I was able to eat fry ups like every few days, could eat cheese and all that and didn’t have t ocount a single calorie. I guess what I did was very similar to atkins. And its not as bad as some people mke it out to be. So yeah, that’s about all really.
How many pounds is 1 stone? lol I don’t understand that. I know the US is the only country in the world too not use the metric system but please explain this to me.
Also I have gotten too the point now where I don’t have too count calories. I just know how much I should be eating. And when/if I look back on what I ate in a day it never goes over 1500… Unless I go on a date or something.
One thing too watch out for is liquid calories. Things that seem healthy like juice and those smoothies everybody loves so much are horrible. Also be careful about those mixed coffee drinks they can be insane amounts of calories.
its about 56 pounds I think :)
And yes, I think the only liquids you should be drinking anyway is water and I love protein shakes. Protein shakes also have carbs in them so I had to watch myself on those. But they are only effective if you exercise regularly, otherwise you just gain the beef lol
Oops I don’t think it could be 56lbs at least not US lbs..
whew ok I just looked it up 1 stone is 14lbs …
yeah there you go! thats what I meant to say :D
