Hi everyone, my name is Noel I am 19 years old and I am suffering from a diease called fibromyalgia.

It’s getting the point where I can’t even bend over to brush my teeth without being in extreme pain. I been dealing with this for 3 years and I finally found a doctor that can help me, but I can’t afford it. It’s making me so depressed to know that I can be better within a few months after dealing with years of horrible pain, but I can’t because I don’t have the money for it. My dad works 14 hours a day and doesn’t even get paided enough. He only has enough money to pay the morgage. My mom is a teacher’s assistant and only works 3 hours a day and that’s not getting paided alot. My sister Tanya who lives in virginia beach lost her one year old child last year and my mom is helping her and her husband as much as she can too pay off the baby’s medical bills, because they keep harassing them to pay medical bills for her passed baby. How horrible is that? My sister Christian has a 4 year old daughter with no father and my sister Christian doesn’t have a job so my mom is trying to help everyone as much as she can with everything and nothing can be done. I don’t know if this is even making sense i am so out of it right now. There is no cure for fibromyaliga but this doctor can help reduce my symptoms to where they are almost gone, it makes me cry when I think about how happy I could feel and how will it feel to feel normal again. It’s this special practice called Upper Cervical Chiropracting. I went there once just to get x-ray, scans and one adjustment and it came out to 417 dollars. Even that was alot of money for us to pay we are still paying that off after 2 months. My whole immune system was shut down; the doctor was suprised I could even walk around. One of my legs is longer then the other, one hip is higher and one shoulder is dropped …he can fix it all and I will be feeling great. He is very concerned about me because of my age. If I don’t get this taken care of now I could end up in a wheel chair for life. I was a cheerleader, played softball, gymnastics and all the sudden I was struck with this crippling pain. If anyone can find in there heart to donate some money to me.

my adress is **********************

you can email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>

The doctor would like for me to see him for a year. two times a week. and 335 a month. it’s a payment plan. at the end it would come up to like 4,567 for a year of full treatment. Or the other opition is 3,000 upfront and then i would just go two times a week. it’s also really hard to have money because it’s 1 hour and 45 minutes away from me and gas is so expensive now.
Bless you all who find it in your heart to donate me some money and I hope you get the money back 12 times what you give me. Thank you all.

Hi. I’m really sorry to hear of the problems you and your family have been going through. Have you tried local charities? Sometimes the larger charities will take on fundraising for one particular case, like yours. What about local churches? Unfortunately this site is for advice only. Maybe someone will answer who knows about the available help in your area. Good luck.

If you are 19 with an irreversible illness you should qualify for disability and possibly medicare. That should help you be able too pay for the medical expenses.

Good luck

please “noellynnmcgrat” check out the following possibility:

I have a neighbor friend who has fibromyalgia.
It has turned out to be not fibromyalgia but in fact it is Lyme disease.
It mimics fibromyalgia but is actually a bacterial infection which is chronic.
To get rid of it requires long treatments with antibiotics.
It can be treated successfully.
Please look into it.
This possibility is much greater if you live in eastern United States in the north.
There is a great deal of Lyme disease there.
The clue that makes me think you have Lyme disease is the comment
you said that your immune system is shut down.
This is what the Lyme disease bacteria do. They attacked your
immune system and weaken it over time. And it gets worse.

incidentally Lyme disease is caused by tick bites.
if you are a cheerleader and were in fields where birds and other small animals
can leave ticks in the grass and you came in contact with them.

Chiropractor is out to get your families money. He’s got you bamboozled.

Build up your immune system with white, green and red teas, veggies, fruits….

Exercise.

Read up on the internet for a variety of inexpensive ideas to control the symptoms.

It’s not lyme. I was tested for that and tons of different things. In and out of the hospital and doctors. I know what I have. It’s not a normal chiropractic situation. There is no cracking, and it works. I know several people with all sorts of problem who was helped by “nucca.” I will look into charities thank you Anubis.

You can also try your luck at online charities like Digital Charity, people may send donations if your story is convincing enough. More information at http://www.laodn.org/

I don’t know why this Doctor seems to have some kind of long term plan but Fibromyalgia is not something a doctor can do much for beside prescribe medication
Here is a list of Fibromyalgia medication used in the treatment process:

Cymbalta
Lyrica (pregabalin)
Pain medications
Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)
Antidepressants
Benzodiazepines
