you could also try OmegaDrivers for it, they are very nice, fast drivers and I have used them on all my machines, and they generally fix any problems I have had and increase my FPS also.

just make sure you uninstall your old drivers completely (including reboot) before you install them

They have fixed all of my problems till now. I have tried the good old OMEGA but they didn’t work. I hope they release new omega drivers soon cause then that would most likely help! ^^

****, thats a hard one then.

how is the cooling in the computer? is it full of dust?

i’ve fixed many peoples freezing problems once I noticed their computer had rabid dust bunnies occupying the whole case, causing overheating

Hmmm i didn’t think that it would be much of a factor… Well i can try DE-dusting it. ^^ If that works then i will love you forever. Just kinda makes me mad that i go and get a 100$ video card off newegg and then it crashed my computer. ^^ Thanks for your help and i hope that it works.

if you have an air compressor around for some reason thatll work, otherwise you probly need to get a can of keyboard cleaner (just compressed air in a can).

id check the inside before you buy anything though, you should be able to tell if its caked in dust.

where all the fans are is most important, if the processor fan/heatsink is clogged up itll definately overheat and shut down, same with exhaust fans, power supply fans, gfx card fans, etc.

There is quite a bit of dust in there. So ill bust out the air compressor if i can’t find any of the keyboard stuff.

hmm.

maybe a driver downgrade? maybe the version you have is unstable, but its hard to tell.

you could try to look at your computers logs for errors, but windows isnt to good at that type of thing.

also make sure when your playing a game to turn off programs that you dont need, disable anti-virus and things like that.

other then that I cant really think of anything to tell you to try.

I googled it a little bit, many people are saying that any driver other then the one provided on the CD does not work to well right now.

so if you are using a driver different then the one it came with on the CD, try removing it and loading the CD driver and see how it works.

Well i just got the latest and greatest of the drivers. It doesn’t matter anymore. I’m going to send the card back and get a nvidia for the same price. ^^ ATI Pissed me off. Yes at one point i tried the drivers that came on the CD But still i had the same problem. My brother is very good with computers, if you want i can send you the error that it is getting some time. Hold on let me check the windows event thing. Give me like 10 seconds. ^^ Thanks you so very much for you help! Much appreciated!

The driver ati2dvag for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events….

That is the whole thing. I hate thoes infinite loops… Don’t know how to stop it. Right now tho i have taken the card out. If you can think of something that might work on fixing it then that would be great. Then i would not have to send it back. Once again thanks for your help!

NEVER use an air compressor to dust the computer. compressed air had water vapor in it. water + computer = BAD. You need to but a “can” of air called gas duster. You can find it at any electronics store like office max.

maybe if you have a ****** compressor, most of the time im worried about vapor coming out of the cans of air then I am a good compressor.

sounds like you might just have to send it back man, **** happens sometimes and things dont work.
