question help: I’ve been having trouble getting on a better bed schedule. - Help.com

I’ve been having trouble getting on a better bed schedule.

Lately, I’ve been going to bed at about 2:00 to maybe later in the morning. But When I try to go to bed early, I end up staying up late sitting in my bed and closing my eyes almost forcing myself to sleep. But I have to have an alarm to wake up, if not I’ll sleep till about 11:00 or 12:00 which mkaes me miss most of the day. My question is: How can I get to bed early even though I’m havig trouble falling asleep? I need help now, Because I can’t stand waking up early then feeling bad so I go back to sleep then go to bed at 2:00 in the morning.

I was wondering if I should stay up all night one night, then the next night, go to sleep, and wake up…early…

well…
you can go to bed at the time you usally do, but wake yourself up at like 6 in the morning, each day until your so worn out you have to go to bed at 10 or sumthing, or youll pass out.

it works for me durting the school year.

also try breathing excercises when you lie in bed…
in though your nose, out the mouth
it should relax you and maybe put you asleep

I know yoga relxes the body, helps with stress, and on my yoga dvd, there’s one relaxzaion pose where you do nothing but relax, it’s supposed to help you sleep. I’ll be back!
