My friend needs help!

We’ve been really close friends and hes been telling me that he wants to join the air force. i totally support his decision. ive noticed that hes been bummed out a lot lately and just recently he told me that he hates his life. he feels like everything is falling part and he cant do anything about it. he later admits that he didnt get his diploma from high school and is ashamed to go back to school since he was supposed to graduate a year ago…his parents doesnt even know! he doesnt know what to do with his life and i have no idea what i can do to make him feel better about himself. ive gave him some advice about going to night school and such but he didnt budge. what can i say or do to help him? please help.

The air force has some great education programs, maybe if he talks honestly with a recruiter, they might be able to help him with the education problem and the life outlook. He obviously already has great support if he has friends posting for assistance on “help”.
