I’m having trouble getting student loans, I have a credit worthy cosigner and have been applying for months.

My family financially is in the lower middle class so my parents don’t make too much money. I have been trying for over a month and a half and have had no success at all. My tuition bill of 15,000 is due on September 9th and I don’t know what to do.

talk to the financial aide department at your school, but if your didn’t apply for FAFSA and you don’t already have loans going they may have to take out a lean on something like a vehicle or say better luck next year before fees start amounting.

I filled out the fafsa in january. I got financial aid, but still need that extra 15000 to get me over the hump.

If you have a good repayment plan, you can ask for a loan at your credit union or Prosper. People may help you. More information at http://l4y.info and http://luccu.org

You might need to consider another school, different schools have very different financial aid packages. You can check out scholarships online at fastweb.com. They have many scholarships all varieties for any type of applicant. People are out there to hand money out for education. Keep trying. An education is important. Good Luck and even though life gets hard stick it out.

Go to a community college or a trade school that you can afford then save up and go to the expensive college for your higher degree.

If you have to, work for a few years before going to college.
