Hello.
I have been stumped about a “condition” I may have. I don’t know what it is. It began with one sore on the back of my head where my “nape” is. It was like a pimple. But it itched like crazy, and of course I itched it, then before I knew it there was 5 of them on the back of my head about the size of the diameter of a pencil eraser. I then stopped itching, tried to keep my hands off of it, continued putting creme on it, but they are still there and now I’ve got a few more on my scalp in various spots. It’s strange because one of them itched like crazy, I itched it, but then it felt sore too, and it was raised up on my scalp like a lump on my head, but wasn’t even red at the time, couldn’t even see anything except a lump, a good sized lump. Then a couple days later, it formed into a scabbed sore. I’m unable to go to the doctor right now and I’ve tried treating it on my own using A&D Ointment, Proactive, prescribed ringworm medication (that was used on one of my kids when he had ringworm), everything I use, it only makes it scab up more. I’ve googled it on the internet trying to figure out what this could be, but haven’t come up with any answers yet. I haven’t got a clue. Also, I don’t know if it’s related but I run a low grade fever lately, off and on. Loose stools which is abnormal for me, headaches and fatigue. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Please Help if you can! Thanks.
