Month help: I just moved to San Diego. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I just moved to San Diego.

I work at the Fashion Valley Mall and I need to be able to get to work on foot. I would like to live alone in a studio with a kitchen (not an SRO). I can afford about $650 a month for rent. And, I would prefer not to live at the top of the hill in Hillcrest or Normal Heights. Anyone have any advice on where to look? Suggestions for hidden areas or inexpensive complexes, maybe. Yes, I have looked on craigslist, backpage, and the UT.
