Money help: i had a great job going for me. - Help.com

i had a great job going for me.

however as of today i am no longer allowed to keep that job. after 2 weeks of anticipation, two interviews, vried enough tears to fill a swimming pool, i got the job i really wanted. i got my tb shots and i filled out all my paper work. i made an appoitment for my physical and drug test. the night before my appointment i had an anxiety attack. went to the hospital and found out i strained my lungs.got home in time for my physical/drug test. it went well. except for the physal part. they didnt pass me because of that attack. dumb right. so i had to go to my doctor, which i dont have insurance so hospital bill/doctor bill. my doc laughed at them and gave me a note which i handed into human resources. hr promised me a pass. well this morning, the day before i have to get my second tb test, i got a call. i still didnt pass and now i am out of the job……………………………….i cant stop crying. i called the place i went to get my physical. they wouldnt let me talk to the doc. i went to my doc. they made me make an appointment. soooo i dont know what to do but cry. this was my job that was supposed to help me move on. it wouldve given me insurance and good money for me to finally move out of my parents house. now what????????????

You could maybe start with a well written letter to the HR director explaining the circumstances. Give them your Doctor’s name and number and anyone else you want them to refer to. If you have an ongoing problem with anxiety it maybe that they think the job would make this worse. If you can show it was simply excitement and that you refuse to be put off by this then they will probably take another look at you. Dont give up yet, you did all those interviews and you have a goal Forget the place that gave you the physical - get back onto the people who interviewed you. Ultimately it will be up to them (that and you passing a physical). Best of luck - Mas1st
