Hello world!

Is there anyone with a serious concern for the natural world we repeatedly disconnect ourselves from? I would like to start a discussion not a debate, as those of us with this understanding need not be bothered with naysayers. Thank you

If your asking about being concerned for the environment, then I apply.

I believe we have no right to trash this earth. We’re on it as a gift. The earth chooses to co-exist with us, so we owe it to the earth to be environmentally aware.

We only get one Earth. This is it.

Right on, as people join I supose a brief intro about ourselves is necessary. I am a 25 year old canadian welder who works for oil companies through a labour union.

The earth is definitely a gift. Let’s use it carefully with thankfulness to the Giver.

Essentially i feel we must build a new society with in the old system as it has been corrupted beyond repair. More strength in the laws that protect small individual businsses and true reusable energy. (not the smart car or some hybrid pice of crap thrown out to quiet public opinion!

I don’t think I am disconnected with the world. I enjoy sitting in a park or woods and watching life as it is. I don’t want to destroy the beautiful environment, just so that I can have what I want, to then find out I didn’t want it in the first place.

There is a lot of natural places left and I don’t want to see them be destroyed just for more money.

There are teams working on ways to re forest the earth. Many people are starting to realize that we need to take action now before it’s too late. But a great deal more people are still trying to bury their heads in the sand acting like it’s a debate still that humans are currently damaging the earth.
