Computer problem: MS Paint

Yeah. ;) I made this computer very slow. Again. *sigh* and whenever I try to open MS Paint, it freezes.

**NOTE: I make the computer so slow it freezes a lot. But EVERY TIME I click on MS Paint it freezes.

Any way to fix it?

Don’t use MS paint it’s (email removed)
Clear out any unwanted programs (including those running in the background.)
Give the computer a virus scan.
Defrag the the hard drive(s.)
Check for hijacker programs and remove any you find.

maybe if your computer is more than a few years old, its time to just get a new one. the worst things you can do on your computer is download and play online games and download free music cause it thrashes the hard drive. so if you do anything like that you’ll probably have major problems no matter what you do.

If your PC seems like its slowing down or having a hard time surfing the web or just doesn’t seem right.
You should go to http://download.com and get these programs.
AD-Aware: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.htm…
Spybot search and destroy: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search…
CCleaner: http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000…
and and if you dont have an Antivirus program you can use
Avast: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Ed…
or AVG: http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Viru…
and for your firewall a good program is
Zone Alarm: http://www.download.com/ZoneAlarm-Fir…
Install these programs and run them regulary. This will keep your system clean and running properly. These programs are free and Download.com is a part of CNET (the site that your posting on right now). Hope this helps :-)

Obviously your computer has other problems .. but besides that .. drop MSPaint and grab GIMP:

It’s free .. spyware/adware/malware free and light years ahead of Paint .. really just about as good as Photoshop.

help.mod, rock on! Gimp ftw!
