Love help: I feel exceedingly happy all of a sudden, but I’m afraid, actually I know it won’t last. - Help.com

I feel exceedingly happy all of a sudden, but I’m afraid, actually I know it won’t last.

How do I make it last?? Like now, I think I’m happy, because I feel like I’m going into my own little fantasy world, and I love that so much, but I can’t do right now. I have so much to do, and the pressure is like crushing me. So I retreat, into my world. How do I balance the stress and the enjoy of my own world?

I searched this site for happiness and discovered that I’m actually an expert on it. ( See: search_on=Both&search_term=happiness&by_user=&order_by=rel ) The moral of this story is that either I said something interesting or we really only have the deepest wisdom about happiness within ourselves.

bring some of the fantasy home and represent it in your life somehow. using stuff like music, or whatever form of self expression suits you.

So - your wanting to konw how to make the happiness your feeling last which is comming from you living in a fanticy world rather than reality? I guess you’d have to pack up and live there to make it last, but , thats not an option.

… what exactly is this “world” you have?

Well my world consists of weird little corks and things that let me experience things on a more intuitive level. Although I hate because it leaves me disconnected for everyone, but then I love it, because I feel the only thing I have to worry about it me.

But when I’m in the real world, I feel like everything is impossible in a sense. That stress is everywhere, and I have to take care of everyone and smile all the time, even when I can barely move myself. I can’t afford to go into my own little world right now, I’m suppose to do great things……….I just don’t know how yet, and I don’t wanna be unhappy when I do them

Can you make sure that every day you take the time for yourself to retreat into your own thoughts and world, say before bed or something? If you take that time daily you will look forward to it and be taking care of yourself. Then the burdens may not seem so burden-ish…know what I mean?

It won’t last forever, but neither will periods of sadness!
