I can’t believe I did that.

I’m a creative writer, and was getting into character as a weed addict. I pretended I was one, with a friend of mine, who always seemed to have known much on the matter. It was the second night, when I was going to break the news that I am not really an addict, and that this was only for my short story, which I was sending in to be published. As I am about to break the news, none other than the mother of my friend calls and expresses her concerns to my friend. I recently sent an e-mail explaining that I am not really an addict. He was understandbly very mad. I feel terrible that it went this far, and now I am scared to deal with the consequences. I am afraid that he will share what happened with everyone. I am also afraid that I will run into his parents. How should I deal with this?

P.S: I know what I did was wrong, but my story is coming along great.

You screwed up. Deal with it and move on.

Next time, perhaps letting people know beforehand so they don’t feel underminded or gullible.

i think that was wrong to minipulate your friend’s feelings like that,but even though that is wrong you did tell him the truth and thats all that matters really.

P.S. i think you should talk to his parents about what you were doing
