Sorry to hear, have you had all your vaccinations ? maybe you have a low Immune system.

yeah .. i think i have low immune system. thanks for replying to my rant.
That used to happen to me until this year. I started eating healthier, but for the most part, another thing I do is use saline solution in my nose almost everyday. It’s not addictive, and is safe to use daily. I also recommend taking zinc lozenges daily.
i didnt get any meds from the doc. i just bought it from the pharmacy..

i take lozenges everyday too. and what’s saline solution? i never heard of that before… i have had so many colds in my life that i have used so much tissue than the average person!
i tried. every time i see a doc, they’ll just prescribe me some medicine and vitamin c but neither works! nope i have never… but my nose is quite sensitive to dust. but that’s normal right? i mean every one’s sensitive to dust?
i have a dog. maybe it’s my dog? but it’s always clean when i touch it.
mmmm. i’ll try and get a test. but the doctors here really are lazy. whenever some patient’s sick, they always prescribe panadols. and uhhhhh, the doctors’ just lazy!!!! do u have any thing in mind that tones down a cold?
Technically saline solution is just salt and sterile water.. but they sell it at the drug store or supermarket. They usually have it near the cold medicine… a major brand name is Ayr, and they have some others…

I don’t use a neti-pot, but I just use the store bought saline solution like one and irrigate my nose… it has definitely helped me.
thanks dizzydaisy! i’ll try and see if i can get my hands on one……. any other ways to tone down a cold other than chicken soup? lol. maybe stand under the sun for hours?
maybe you have sinusitis or rhinitis…

What I have heard is:
taking Vitamin C does not do as much good as actually eating foods with Vitamin C– something about the anti-oxidents— try eating oranges, etc. instead
washing ones hands frequently when out around other people makes a huge difference, as that is how most colds, etc are passed
apple a day is really true– they do contain some nutrient that has been shown ( over zinc and all the other vitamins and minerals) to improve immunity
and…now this is weird, but I have a neighbor and a relative who swear by it, although I myself am a little skeptical… there is such a thing as a Neti pot that you use to wash your sinuese on a regular basis to prevent colds http://www.healingdaily.com/exercise/…
I’m thinking of allergies. Like dust of pollen.
It is not advisable to self prescribe.
You need to see a specialist.
I forgot to mention, I stayed away from anti-bacterial soap and gels, as well as changed to non-toxic cleaning products. I noticed I got sick often when I’d do major cleaning and inhaling all the chemicals.
I think its time you get a new doctor
having a low immune system can be in count of low white blood cells and that could be a sighn of cancer. I THINK, dont quote me on that becaue im not sure. It might be a good idea to see a dfferent doctor and get some tests fone and maybe some medication prescribed. Some people have sensative noses when it comes to dust or pollen, that could be sinus problems or even a sighn of allergies. time to get a new doctor…and a good doctor
Eat food with high antioxidant levels like green, white and rooibos tea, blueberries, chard, grapes, carrots, any brightly colored veggie or fruit on a daily basis.
I agree with lilies and Bexi, you should probably seek out an ENT (Ear Nose an Throat specialist).
