I’m not sure.

But I would lean towards unethical- not necessarily evil, but having the wrong motives.

Poor in spirit: Means you have not enough of the Fruits of the Spirit (love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control). This can be due to not being worshipful enough, so you don’t attain those blessings, not seeking them enough, so you don’t get them, or not knowing how to get them (obviously). I think somewhere one of the gospels defined those fruits.

Well, I -do- love my fiction…

And theoretically it all ties down to not seeking them, because the Bible does say somewhere else that “seek, and you shall find”, and I suppose if you wanted something badly enough you’d look for it, right?
