do you know of any countries in which the goverment does not allow businesses to advertise?

Which countries? Why do you think the goverment does not allow businesses to advertise in these countries?

A Goverment simply would not do this. Sure, some places do have tighter restrictions, but even communist Russia understood the need for trade.

So, to answer the question: Its all about money and keeping trade stable, and thats why any goverment would allow advertiseing.

What
?
In places where laws are covered in less red tape, and there is more confusion over the basic justice systems, there is LESS likely this is a problem.

For example, what would happen if pepsi put up a sign in America saying: PEPSI IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER DRINK. All other soft drink firms would be on them like flies and force them to change it.

If they did the same in Pakistan, noone is likely to care.

no no i didnt mean it in that sense communation.
what i meant was if there are countries where laws are not progressive and the people are conservative, sometimes extremely conservative, there is a possibility that advertising could be banned to prevent “brainwashing” of masses
