Either way, how do you feel about it?

for some its excellent.
Most normal schools are combinations of babysitting, prison, and indoctrination.
So homeschools can avoid these pitfalls.

i homeschool and personally i hate it…
but thats just me.. it works for some people and doesnt for others. you have to have the motivation though (which i dont lol) thats my whole problem. to be honst it is a lot harder than public school because you have to do everything where as in public school the teachers get to pick and choose what they want you to do. but its okay if you go in with a positive attitude..

I have 4 children that I homeschool. My oldest will be 18 in a few days and my youngest will turn 7 in a few days. 3 out of the 4 love it but my 15 year old dislikes it. He is very good at it but “wants to hangout” with his friends. This is also the same child that a month ago was caught taking ectasy. I am 33 years old…had my 1st child at 15 but am determined to be a good and fair parent. This is a sutuation where I refuse to budge, But I am curious to hear from people in our situation. We live in an area where being homeschooled isn’t the norm but accepted. I don’t personally know to many people who do it.
