Its okay to be gay…one of my best friends is gay.

how old are you? It makes a differenence believe me. I didn’t know what was happening when i was 23 and I tried a lot :) but now at 28 I know that I am strait. So try everything, you are only young once

one of my good friends is gay and she has known since she was in sixth grade. always knew she was different. we are eighteen now

its really okay to be confused…just go with your feelings. gay really is excepted in our society today…where i’m from (small town in iowa) it really beats the steriotypical small town…there was a girl in my class freshmen year, who was openly bisexual, and she & two of our friends wore a shirt that said “______’s bi. get over it.” but the funny thing was, no one treated her any differently, just like any other girl.

are your family like really churchy? because i’d think that that would make it the hardest to swallow for them. but then again, my friend, dan, started telling people that he was gay sophomore year, and his parents (who are pretty dang lutheran) and little brother all know, and they still love him and don’t treat him any differently then before he told them, and your family might not be ready to hear it yet. But you never know until you try. And if you tell them, sure, they may be upset at first, but they should eventually understand.

Well acctually a parent can reject their child but that’s another discussion.
If you end up with a partner the same gender as yourself then I guess you could call yourself gay - that’s about all there is to it.

the simplest way for you to find out if you’re gay or not is
to look at some pornography of women and then of men.
If you are turned on by men more than women and you’re probably gay.

I think if you are attracted to men and have no interest in watching nude women
then I think that tells you something.

I think if you were gay depending on how old you are, you would know,my nephew said he was gay at 16, we said well give it some time to explore you sexuality, but now hes been living with a guy for 15yrs, he knew from the start :-)
