Show me what is holding you back, keeping you from Perfection. I think you are perfect. Flaws and all…I see your scars now, I know where to look. But don’t you see, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Your scars are memories, keeping you from falling apart. But I can pick up all your pieces, and glue you back together. Because when the time comes, I will need saving too. And no matter how broken you are, I will need you. You will have to piece me back together.

Fears; everyone has them. Rational, irrational. None are more overbearing than the others. Fear can be healthy though, it puts things into perspective. Shows you what is too important to lose. You know what I am afraid of? Losing you. I am losing you within yourself. You are retreating, to a place to make yourself feel better, a place that you won’t let me near. You allow me a glimpse, to see the shadows within your being, the dark clouds that fog your head. Your heart knows where I am, and somehow you reach, knowing that I will always be right behind you. Ready to catch you when you fall. You cannot hide from your fears forever, they only become greater, darker. You fear the journey, I fear the end. Let’s face them together, but first, look into the mirror. What do you see? Nothing but your own worst enemy.
