The origins of life
It was cold and misty,
The rain caught me
As I watched the birth of something new
This came as a surprise to me
Something new!
It gave me great dreams
I sat and watched as light came into existence
Beautiful but harsh, burned me up
At first I was confused (More new things)
Why did this light want to hurt me?
It took me all of an instant to realise that the pain was unintensional
“Go away” I said to the light
“Why?” Asked the light with a smile
I fell in love
“What?” I asked
