It’s 5 in the morning, and I’m still wide awake.

Too much to think about to sleep.
Anyone have any suggestions on what would make me relax, so i can sleep a bit easier?

Lay on your back and close your eyes. Everything should be off. Lights, TV, ect.

count back from 1,000. Once you get to 600, stop. Then count back from 100. One you get to 60, stop. Again, count back from 100. Stop at 60.

Repeat. Always makes me sleep.

I had trouble sleeping too, and I finally got something to work. I get into bed about 1 hour before i’m tired, and take a 1mg melatonin tablet. The extra hour gives me a chance to relax, and if I start to think about all of the things I have to do, I make a list. There’s nothing you can do about most of your problems between 11pm and 6am, so you may as well treat yourself to some good sleep. If i start to hear my own thoughts, and can’t get them to shut up, I try to concentrate on a simple image in my mind, like a blue square. That gives me something else to think about until I drift off.

Try drinking milk or eating rice before going to bed, both contain melatonin, a natural sleeping aid, which help you sleep better. From http://nosleep.in
