I guess a story like mine has already been told. I am a gay kid, living in a small conservative town full of homophobes. I “had” to come out to the whole town due to a series of strange and unfortunate events. Ever since then I have been threatened, beaten, harassed…the list is endless. But even though every day is a living hell…I’m not sad that I came out. I’m happy that I can be who I want to be and not have to care about what others think about me…I think that I made the right choice…I hope that I did…

yup. Although it sucks at this stage of you life to be treated the way you are, you will realise that it is better to be 100% you then anything else. it will make you happier in the long run. it is the people that are abusing you that should be doubting their values.

Remain strong through this period in your life. stay as true and as proud as you can. don’t let others bring you down or make you suffer. it won’t always be this way :)

but i have a male friend who is a drag and she holds her head up high through everything she goes through, and i am there for her 100%
so find some friends that will be there for you whenever you need and always be in groups cuz i doubt that they would pull anything if your with more ppl

yes you may…I have never had anyone want to write a story about me! I would be honored! :D
And thank you all sooooo much! I have never had this many people give me positive advice. It means a lot to me…and as for the unfortunate events that led to me coming out…One day I was coming back from athletics…and it had always kind of been rumored that I was gay…so naturally I was picked on almost every day. All of the football players circled me and started to call me names, and after dealing with this for 4 yrs I had an outburst in which I said that I was gay. Afterwords I was kicked out of athletics, and I lost my best friend. I walk home at night after a play or a game and I almost always get: jumped, threatened, or they throw things at me from their truck… and that is pretty much the whole “unfortunate events” thing..

Help me with: Please…right now I just need someone to listen to me…someone…anyone…

no offense, but i know lots of people threatened, beaten, harassed, with an endless list. and guess what, they weren’t gay. in fact, i would say you are pretty lucky. there are lots of people who get that kind of treatment who can’t hide what they are. it would be pretty hard for an asian kid to pretend he wasn’t asain. “no, i just made a funny face and my eyes got stuck this way, just like my mom told me they would.”

i prefer to call this situation, welcome to the real world. and stop living in a world where you think only gay people get bashed.
