for any of you that can analyse this what does this dream mean?

It doesn’t seem very important but I rarely remembered my dreams and after this one I was really het up, shakey. It was more of a nightmare really. Anyway, I was in the garden of this house party. In the garden was full of junk, like old bike parks. I left my girlfriends mac (the computer, which she really does have in real life out ther and it got nicked. I remember being REALLY stressed about it, but when I did she was just like ‘that’s fine, don’t worry about it’ any ideas?

You are asking everyone from armchair Freudians to New Age fortune tellers to interpret this at the moment. Can you be more specific about the interpretation you are looking for?

Did something happen that you think she wouldn’t forgive you for?
Because that would explain why she was okay with you losing her mac, because she is forgiving and she would be okay with whatever happened.

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas abot why it was so important? Like why did it impact me so mch? It woke me up! And it was woerd it was the mac - ive never touched or orrowed it, Ive got my own. And why was I so bothered about telling her? Se is a forgiving person Jinx and unless I did anything awful she’d be ok with it. But I haven’t. Nothing like she doesn;t know aout, I’ve orrowed a lot of cash off her recently to pay my rent which i fel bad about but i dunno if its releven? I know this seems stupid but it really shook me !

Was there any other details that you can remember? Maybe there was something more to the dream that you can’t remember?

your mind just threw some random stuff together. i once had a dream where it was halloween and i went to this house in the woods and rang the bell and this crazy *** dummy of micheal myers on an electric chair popped up on the porch and projectile vomited over me then this old dude opened the door and gave me a sack of sweets so i walked off into the woods and then the headless horseman from sleepy hollow started chasing me so i jumped over this wall and he followed but his horse clipped the wall and he fell off, stood up and hit me with his sword which turned out to be rubber so i laughed at him and asked why he had a rubber sword to which he replied “my mum won’t let me have a real one” at which point he revealed himself to be my friend luke from up the road. analyse that one

Doesn’t seem that stupid. There are many different ways of interpreting dreams though, some are apparently scientific some are religious and some are nonsence.
I just hold to the idea that it was conicidence, we all have loads of dreams every night - we just don’t remember them all. You were close to conciousness when you had the dream and maybe even gained conciousness towards the end. You probably don’t even remember the dream - I’d guess you are acctually remembering the moment you woke up and remembered the dream. Sort of an echo of it if you like. It’s easy to draw out meanings that aren’t there, when we’re asleep the brain is sorting out it’s memories and ideas. Who really knows what’s going on in there or why. I know this isn’t very helpful but I hope you don’t loose any more sleep over it ;)

Have you promised her something you couldn’t fulfill? Are you afraid of losing her?

I dunno, it was a guess. A hunch. To the world on the internet she is represented by that one machine. A website sees her computer, to them that’s her. Are you allowing other interests to get in the way of your relationship? Is she just another task on your list? Is her correspondence, her opinion more important than junk mail? The garden of a house is what nourishes the family. Have you been putting off making a commitment? Do you still see life as a party?

Like man with a mop said, it’s all conjecture on our part.

Sounds like you feel both hurt and guilty.

You can’t interpret your dreams too literally. They’re like the absent-minded doodles of someone talking on the phone. But you can learn from them what’s going on in your heart.

It’s natural both to want to have a baby, and to be afraid of getting pregnant before you’re ready.

A lot of times a house or garden represents the self. For example, rooms in a house can be different parts of an individual’s life or personality, the things that make the person up. I tend to agree with the others, and it would make sense with the guilt you are feeling regarding borrowing money from her. As you said, she is a forgiving person, and it sounds more like something you need to come to peace with yourself.

maybe you are feeling guilty about something and you need to get rid of those feelings. the bike parts could represent that
