Happy post everybody.

I know, it’s amazing. But anyways, I am starting to get over my ex. (for those who don’t know we broke up about a month and a half ago, after going out for a year and change) I realized that I am now over her when I was talking to one of my closest friends. She told me to ask her out, I said I was thinking about it but everytime I got really nervous. But It wasn’t a gut wrenching pain type nervous, it was a calm, happy feeling but I just couldn’t. At this point, I realized that I really liked her, like crush. This was a major surprise for me. After so long of “loving” my ex. I realized that our relationship had been dying for a while. She knew it, she moved on, and I didn’t care. But enough about my ex, she treated me bad, I realized it and now I have moved on. I am thinking of asking this girl out tomorrow. We flirt quite a bit, and for some reason it just feels more right than ever. I waited and waited thinking this would go away, thinking it was more of a rebound, but now I realize she could be so much more, and I am going to go after her.
As for my life, everything is going great, hockey has started up again, I made the top level team, we tied our second game today, school has been started for a few weeks. All my teachers are awesome. And for the first time in years I have found myself looking forward to going because of the girl. I get a new phone soon, just everything has been seeming to go my way for the first time, people seem to like me more. For instance ( I got asked by a group of kids on my team to go chew with them, of course I said no, came up with the reason I would cover for my roommate because if coach came we would both be screwed, so got out of that one easy, without losing position on the team. And I have been having people wanting to go to movies and stuff with me.) So everything has just been amazing for me.
Just thought if anything that some people here would want to check up and see what I’m up to, and others who are down this could bring them up.

Exactly, that’s why alot of great people are leaving, too much sadness, you need a mix between happy, upbeat posts of (well for a lack of a better term) success, to show inspiration and how life can be for those who are down.

I just think it is amazing that half a year ago I came to this site wanting to die, and now my life can’t seem to get much better.

I think it is wonderful that things are going so good for you. I did know that you and your girlfriend broke up. I must of missed a few post or something. I know you cared a lot for her so I glad that you have been able to move past that relationship and find happiness.

Do you think you have changed your way of thinking and that is what had brought all this goodness into your life? I am just wondering because a lot of time when we are depressed and down, we do not see the good things or accept them. So we feel like all is bad and there is nothing good in our life’s. But if you are in a different state of mind you would view your life differently. You see the goodness, you react to it, and it bring about more good things. If you get a chance, let me know what you thing about that. Do you feel like this applies to the changes in you life?

no, you did not miss any posts, I never made a post on that subject. I knew that to get over it I couldn’t post, I just had to think about it, worry, and get over everything by myself. It’s not something you can really get help with. Ya know?

As for changing in thinking, I don’t really believe so, but all my friends and people say I have been a lot more happy, and hyper, after we broke up, so maybe, just never really thought about it.

It has been amazing, but how have you been? It has been way too long since I have talked to you.

Asked her out and got a no, but it is all good. I’m not really hurt, we are still good friends. And it was worth a try.
