I would like to be a counselor for people.

I want to be a psychologist. Does anyone know what courses I should take in college, which is literally, right around the corner for me. In addition, can anyone tell me the prices of the classes or semester cost and whatnot? I’m looking to enter an in-state community college for the first two years of school and transfer into an in-state University possibly. I plan on bar tending to pay for everything. Any insight?

it will be a lot of social and physcology courses. of course youll go higher into the physcology classes than the regular elective classes. possibly a required biology and chemistry class. along with probably calculus. for the first 3-4 years itll just be the average pay of just taking the main required core classes out of the way. when you get into the classes actually needed for your major itll be a bit more expensive than the first 3 years. but who knows for sure. you can call colleges for free and have them ssend you brochures with all this information in it to you for free as well

the post below this one would be a good post for you help with.
the “why do a worry so much” post.

for an example. right now im just taking biology, english, and math. and with books, my total for this semester was $5,380. (rememeber going to a community college itll be cheaper than that, but also, you have to make sure that the calsses you take there will transfer with the university your planning to attend next)

You know, nothing about people amazes me because I studied psychology, sociology and anthropology for years.

Schools have a set price on classes unless you can get financial aid like grants. I’ve known people who paied their way through school working just weekend shifts at a restaurant (but they took a long time to graduate.) To figure out what classes to take you can use google and toss in some of the relevant keywords — it works to get recommendations of courses of study for particular professions or advanced degrees. I tried that before for someone and found lots of information from various schools and professional-society pages.
