She Lives So Far Away
So, I met this girl on MySpace and we completely fell for each other, but her brother whom she lives with is so over-protective of her. He blocked my number, blocked my new changed number, blocked my dad’s phone number and took the house phone away from while we were talking.
I’m so depressed that I can’t even talk to this girl I love so much.
What do I do?

He is just extremely over protective of her and won’t give me a chance.
He is afraid that I am going to hurt her.
Yes, but why? He does that with every guy, or is it something about you, like for example the fact that you’ve never even met except in the fantasy cyberspace of the internet?
well . talk to him n tell him wat u feel about her ..
She happened to fall asleep with her cell phone flipped open the other night. Well, he got up during the night and seen it. He read the text messages saying we loved each other. He got all worked up about it and block every single out-of-state number on her phone. I’m just so angry and sad, because I can’t reach her right now.
are you the same age as this girl?
Oh. It sounds like you just have to wait till she works it out with him then. That’s all I know. If I had a problem with my sister like that I’m sure she wouldn’t just put up with “being protected” … unless you guys are really young or something.
We are both 18 years old. She lives with her brother and her past tends to make him very protective of her. I understand that, but I don’t even get a chance.
how long have you known her?
We have been talking to each other for about seven weeks. We talk almost every single night by internet or phone. We were talking tonight and her brother walked into her bedroom and seen that she was on the phone with me. So, he took the phone away and I haven’t heard anything from her since. I’m so worried. I changed my phone number so that I could text her and call her again, but he found it was me again. So, he ended up blocking ALL out of state area codes tonight.
where is her parents
have you actually seen this girl or just spoke through my space?
im finding it a bit difficult that you could actually love this girl in such a short space of time
… I didn’t really have much more helpful insight but I just want to say that this is exactly why facebook style and connecting to people you already know is better, even if it’s harder to do.
how far away is she ?
I’ve been in love before and I know what it feels like. It’s that sort of thinking that is tearing us apart. It’s the same exact way her brother thinks. He sees it that it’s impossible for us to love each other only because we met online. We have shed tears over each other and have spoken about everything. We know each other inside and out. We care about each other so much and we are deprived of communication.
well ….go ahead … n proof ur love to her n her bro … i think that’s the best way
has her brother always been over protective of her
is it because he as to look after her why her parents have gone
if she is 18 hasnt she got rights
when you say her past
did she get hurt by someone?
is thst the reason why her bro is overprotective
hes looking out for her best interests.
She lives with her brother, because her parents are gone. Yes, she has rights as an eighteen year old, but she still lives under his roof and he pays for and controls her cell phone. He’s been protective of her ever since I met her. I’ve never spoken to him, but I want to. I need to. He needs to understand that we need each other, but he refuses to accept the fact. When I speak of her past, I’m not talking about another boyfriend who broke her heart.
talk to him face to face .. he’ll understand that u love her
Yes, I will talk to him when I get there, but I can’t go the next month without talking to her.
What if this ‘brother’ is actually her lover/boyfriend/husband?
I’m not saying this to pick a fight, or because I’m in the mood to make some new enemies … just, for your sake, what are the possible odds of that?
her bro wont allow you cause hes playing mum&dad which will make his protection 100 times harder!!!
you put yourself in his shoes &look through his eyes
hes not being mean he just doing what he feels she needs
this is now down to her&her alone
she needs to convince him she has her own life
you going down there to talk to him could end up making things worse!!!
i know you really want to&yes you may love this girl&its reciprocated
family always come 1st.
i think evansent200 is right … but ur problem now is how u ganna connect to her .. i think the best way is online .. send some emails to her …or try call her through the internet .. i donno but may be it will work
