Pointless Rant, please ignore.

I’m starting to have a real problem with some (often anonymous) users.
Is it just me or do loads of people come on and ask an obscure question and then immediatly log off. Every day I’ll post replies asking people to clarify what they mean or rephrase the question they asked so that it makes sence. Do most of them reply? No, they’ve already logged off.
Why ask a question and not even wait for the answer. Why take up space on this site & take up people’s time if you have no interest in listening to the answer to your questions? Why am I always having to guess whether the information I can provide is any use or not? There are plenty of people out there wanting help who do not get everyone’s opinion because some of us are tied up asking people to retype their questions or provide more information. STOP WASTING MY TIME.
Sorry about that but I feel a lot better now.

I agree with you… sorry I posted anon about the kid in hell thing, but that was just because I was hesitant to post it to begin with; but hey I did respond- But I understand what you mean. Glad you feel better :)

You post is not pointless and I think the reason why the person who post it doesn’t reply is because he/she isn’t looking for an answer. I think they want someone to agree with them or to tell them exactly want they want to hear and not the truth.

Help me with: how do I put my self on the map, so as to not have location unknown?

I agree with you- posting help and then having Anon seemingly ignore it can be frustrating, but a few of those people probably actually do get something out of it.

Sorry RememberPoe, my rant wasn’t against users who post anonymously. That option is there for when you’re not sure how people will react - I think it’s a good thing, I should have made that clearer. It just seems that more people who start pointless posts and waste people’s time post anonymously, that’s the only reason I mentioned it.

No .. rants are easy… like this post.. title says it all, but soooo many people come on here “I need help…” OMG what am I going to do..” and you sit there really thinking about what to say… ask questions and nothing.

I totally understand.. I just never NEVER post anon.. so I kinda feel dumb for doing so. It is nothing you said :)
