Figured I would make a post if there were any fans of the UFC..

Evan Tanner passed away out in the desert while on an adventure to “cleanse” himself. Just got a link from a friend not too long ago and wanted to spread the word for anyone who was a fan of his or UFC.

Not heard of him before and to be honest don’t really know what UFC is :S
I read the article though, what a sad thing to happen, he seemed to know what he was doing and also knew the risks as he even said that any failure in his equipment would cost him his life.
Sad news, feel sorry for his family he was not that old.

I am not a huge fan either .. ufc.. is ultimate fighting championship.. i would watch it with my brother sometimes and i think I remember seeing this guy fight, but I just posted it because I got it from a link a friend sent me.. I didn’t see it on any headlines just yet .. so in case there are fans out there.. just wanted to spread the word.

I’m not really a fan of UFC but have followed it reasonable well (one of my buddies in Vegas fights in some of the california tournaments, nothing big so far but he keeps winning). I have to say that I loved watching Chuck Liddell catch some zzz’s back on the 6th. Don’t really like that guy, or Tito Ortiz for that matter. I like the concept of Mixed Martial Arts tournaments and just hope that flashy fighters don’t ruin it and turn it into some sort of spectacle. It should remain a pretty simple concept… put two fighters in the ring, whoever knocks the other out… winner.

I go motorcycle riding in the desert. I like the challenge, but, I always carry a compass, a water backpack (camelback), that’s two liters of water, and usually a good buddy with a tow rope LOL:)
