Bending Guitar Strings

and bending guitar strings, I can usually do it but recently, I’ve been bending the strings and when I release the string I hit the string above either with my fingers or finger-nails, and it’s stressful.

nails too long ? try bending with fingers at a little different angle. the string above that you accidently keep hitting should just be touching the pad of youy finger when in full bend.
