can anyone tell me the semi colon rule? i need it for my papers

do i switch the semi colon into a colon?

Yes, this a colon is better here but I’m pretty sure each side of the colon needs to be a complete sentence.

But sweet sixteen is a title of the tournament… im pretty sure it should be captalized.
