now a border is showing up around my paper. how do i get rid of it? please help-it’s due tomorrow

have you zoomed out on the page?

If you look at the top you should see the percentage the page is being displayed in.

click on print preview which is found in the file menu at the top and tell if it look right.

If all else fails copy all of the text and paste it into a new document, or, if that too has a border for some reason, send the text only (not an attachment) to yourself in an email and print away! Hope one of these two helps.
