Your post makes no sense, if you’re talking about a regular tree.

Are you saying a “large” bonsai, those tend to still be rather small a Omono or Bonju—-would be really expensive…or are you saying you want a normal size tree that is shaped like a bonsai, in which case you want a topiary (or sculpted tree.)

You may have to buy the tree itself and prune it to your liking. Some garden centres are becoming more hip to this but they are few and far between. Try a yew or a juniper or any evergreen shrubbery (haha)really. Depends on your zone what will grow best but you will likely find something. Ask someone at the nursery what can best handle pruning. The bigger you get the more expensive it will be…you may want to start small and it can be your own creation…how very zen ;)

Isionte is correct. A website like http://www.bonsaioutlet.com is a great resource for japanese bonsai trees, tools and plants. You need to be knowledgeable with hos to care for a bonsai if you want to have one. You’ll need all the reliable resource that you can get! :)

Bonsai trees can be made or bought. To make one, you must be skill ful since this technique is very tricky. The site http://www.bonsaioutlet.com/all-bonsa… is a reputable bonsai retailer.
