Foxit Reader help.

Since Adobe Reader sucks, I downloaded Foxit, and it works fine, but I have one problem - When viewing PDF’s in my browser (Mozilla 3.0.1) it views with Adobe. I’ve already set Foxit as my default browser. Any ideas on what to do?

give thanks to c-eek :) for she invited me - i missed you entirely Vilen!

what you are going to need to do is set your file extensions so it thinks .pdf’s are to be loaded as foxit, not adobe

how you do this is simple, right click on a pdf (any pdf!), go to Open with, then choose program - your programs should show here, including foxit

if it does, then select foxit, click the button at the bottom saying “always use the selected program to open this kind of file” then click ok

if its not there, you are going to have to click browse, go and find foxit’s .exe, then click the button then ok

hope this helps!

hehe - i’m not beaten yet - reread the problem

try this :)

in firefox, go to tools
then options
then the applications tab

look for all the things that say adobe, and change them to foxit - on the right hand side

Oh yeah, I forgot, I uninstalled Adobe some days ago, so now it just asks what program to use.
Thanks!
