Since summer is coming to a end we are closeing down our pool.

My dad is putting a pool cover of it but, we all know the rain will pull the cover down into the pool, therefore defeating the whole idea of an actual pool cover. What can we do to solve this problem? I sugguested draining some water out of the pool (which we did) and putting tiny holes in the cover so the rain water would drain down into the pool. But no, everyone else think I’m a complete idot of this. What should we do?

Get a pole and fix it with a weight to go in the middle of the pool, the pole should be slightly higher than the edge of the pool, the cover will go over and the rain water will not gather but wash down and off to the sides.
